Is This The Best Mobile Marketing Campaign of 2012?

We are excited at Snakk to be in the running for an award in the 2012 Australian Mobile Awards.  Our Intel Visibly Smart campaign has been nominated in the “Best Mobile Marketing Campaign” category for 2012.

Intel wanted to reach tech-savvy young Australian adults, of which nearly 80% use smartphones.  This audience want technology that will let them communicate, create and compose: exactly what Intel was offering.

It had the potential to be a highly receptive target, but this demographic is capable of blocking marketing messages (actively through AdBlock technology, by fast-forwarding commercial breaks, or just by eyeballs tuned out of banner ads or newspaper ads).

It’s a demographic that increasingly expects an invitation to engage: so an interactive game was the perfect way to seek their permission.
