Research Company TNS has released a report called How Mobile Raises the Bar For Brand Comms.   You can preview and download the report from their home page.

This and other reports are based on a body of research they are calling Mobile Life, which “draws on behaviours, motivations and priorities of 48,000 people in 58 countries, to develop recommendations on activating a business and marketing strategy via mobile.”

Mobile Life aims to explore how people will use their phones into the future. The key insights from Mobile Life are available to explore graphically on a world map, and are available on a country & regional basis.  Not all of the data is available for Australia, but there is enough there to get a view on the findings.
